DIY recipe of homemade Eye shadow

There are many beauty products available to embellish ourselves. Eye shadow is one among them which is applied on the eyelids and under the eye.  Different shades of eye shadows available in the market. We go in for the best product and try to use it. Are we sure about which product would be the best and friendly to our skin? This happens on a trial and error basis. The product we get it from the market cannot be without chemical interference. Here are few recipes to make your own eye shadows organically and with natural ingredients for your skin type.

DIY for Eye Shadow Powder with ArrowRoot

The Main Ingredients are Arrowroot powder and Shea Butter. Arrowroot starch is an effective thickening agent used to add texture and Shea butter is fat that’s extracted from the nuts of the shea tree.

For Light Brown:

  • 1 tsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp arrowroot
  • 1/2 tsp shea butter

For Pale Pink:

  • 1/8 tsp. cocoa powder
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. shea butter
  • 1/2 tsp. arrowroot powder
  • 1/2 tsp. dried beet powder [beat root pieces can be dried for 8 – 12 hours]

For Golden Brown:

  • 3/4 tsp. Nutmeg
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. Turmeric [ Rich in antiseptic]
  • 1/2 tsp. arrowroot powder
  • 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. shea butter

DIY for Creamy EyeShadow with Shea Butter

Use 7- 8 beeswax pastilles and 1 tsp shea butter in a glass measuring cup in a melted form. Then, using a different pipette for each ingredient, add the below ingredients to make a cream

  • 75ml Refined Jojoba Oil (has moisturizing content and antibacterial)
  • 75ml Vegetable Glycerin
  • 12 drops Vitamin E Oil
  • 2 teaspoons Eye Safe Mica Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cosmetic Pearl Mica Powder
